This community is part of a play-by-post role play first inspired by the "Black Jewels Trilogy" and what has now blossomed into The Seventh Sorrow. The world of TSS is a unique one, sporting a dark fantasy theme. We've much to offer: original races, magic system, social hierarchy, and much more.  New Additions: My plans for the next few days is to get the new forums up. Things you can look for are actual slave markets or markets in general, a Keep for Monoke, one or two small towns/villages in Enliel Planes, a village in Torke Mountains and a Novambre war camp as well, and various additions to Gebied. Other things to look for is a form and place where members will be able to create their own creatures. You can also look forward to seeing three new creatures making an appearance as well. Things To Look Forward To: After establishing that we will, in fact, be moving to self host TSS, there are many new things to look farward to along with that. All members can expect role playing forums to expand and new things to appear in the ooc sections as well.  The Library (INFORMATION)
The library contains everything you need to know about TSS. Clippings from past newspapers on current events, history, and lore may prove very helpful indeed. Common knowledge amongst the Blood such as races, castes, and magic can be found here as well. There is even said to be a forbidden wing within the library that contains dark secrets.

 - Masked Festival
One thing is for certain, the Blood sure do know how to celebrate. At the beginning of every Caida season, the days of Halloween are vividly celebrated. As per usual, the celebration is in the form of a masquerade but Drake has gone though great lengths to create an alluringly spooky festival and dance. The greatest illusionists have been assigned to the task of decoration with strict instruction to not hold back.
Each nightfall, a cloudy mist fills the alleyways and spills into the main streets of the Monoke marketplace; signifying the beginning of the night's festival. An eerie waltz is plaid by various violins floating above. The sound lingers in the sky filled with floating Jack O' Lanterns hovering about the height of most buildings. Every individual is masked. Various vendors as well as games line the streets, at various times of the festival candy will fall from the sky.

 - Kouderill
The most rigidly cold and foreboding territory, nearly covered completely in snowy mountain regions. Very few races of the blood find the terrain comfortable to live in. Kouderill is responsible for seventy percent of the coal and iron in the Shadow Realm, greatly involved in the production of above-average weaponry. Though a separate territory in of itself, it is controlled by Drake who rules over Terra Monora; he does this indirectly by placing some of his most trusted council members there.

 - Terra Monora
This territory has always been home to the ruler of the Shadow Realm and is currently home to Drake Silver. As the largest territory, it has the largest population and race variety to go along with it. Most of the coastal trade is managed by Terra Monora as well as nearly the entire farming industry. Having control over a large portion of the trading ports along the coast, Terra Monora also have the ability to boast a growing naval army.

 - Torke Mountains
The largest string of mountains in the the Shadow Realm. Torke Mountains are considered neutral territory, however. Even though all territories have a portion of it within their borders, it is considered useless land. The land itself is quite lacking in large amounts of life aside from wild predators. There used to be a path that went through the mountain that went between Terra Monora and Gebied but that path has long since been closed off since the beginning of the wild beast attacks on various villages in Terra Monora. - Last post Re: Special Delivery

 - Gebied
A particularly feral part of the Shadow Realm that has generally been deserted by its rulers. A village exists deep in the forest but they are constantly suffering from the effects of the taint. Gebied is, so far, the only place that the taint has infected, making plants appear dead but forced to continue on living in decay. The wild animals of the forest have become unpredictable, even the mice and other rodents have become a danger. The majority of the villagers stay in the abandoned keep, a place that seems, strangely enough, protected by the taint. It is here were the feral animals attacking parts of Terra Monora are coming from.

 - Open Seas
The great watery mass of open ocean is the most unforgiving and mysterious of the Unknown Realm. Many myths of monsters that lurk beneath its surface drift from a storytellers tongue without any knowledge of their truth. Aside from providing a great story to tell, the ocean is no stranger to pirates that often raid trade ships. - No posts
